From September 15 to 19, the OSC team attended the OfiCo members' retreat in Spain, the first since OfiCo became a nonprofit organization. While Open Collective has always been a strong partner and platform we work closely with, their transition into a nonprofit membership organization has been a significant shift in structure and how we work together. Although our teams have been holding co-retreats for many years, this one felt extra special as it was our first chance to come together since those changes occurred. 

As members of OfiCo, we’re involved in making sure the Open Collective platform we use continues to support our fiscal hosting services and the projects we host, while also contributing to the needs of other OfiCo members, so the retreat sessions focused on reflecting on the past, discussing the present, and exploring future possibilities. OSC also had time to walk through how we work with the OfiCo engineering, support, and design teams to show our workflows, what’s going well, and what features would be helpful for us, our hosted projects, and other fiscal hosts.
