About

PG ChangeMakers is a coalition of Prince George’s County community members, activists, and or organizations committed to ensuring that Black lives matter in our county and state. We exist to create a safe space to elevate the voices, ideas and needs of the BLACK community.

Our mission is to stand in solidarity with our community, to break down systems built on systemic racism. We will hold accountable those that continue to enable those systems of oppression that exist and those that benefit from them.

What we do: We work to provide practical solutions to embedded racists systems of oppression inflicted on our communities through organizing power, advocating for better policies that center our needs, and educating residents on issues that plagued our communities. We demand justice and accountability from those that mean to harm us because of the color of our skin.

Who are our members: Our membership consists of policy analysts, educators, senior directors, legal staff, service workers, entrepreneurs, photographers, historians, journalists, editors, graphic artists, data analysts and allies. So anyone that believes in our mission is welcome to join no matter the color of their skin.
