Project Elara

Project Elara works on developing a 100% open-source space-based power system that can capture and transmit energy from the Sun in space. We hope for our technology to bring power equity to remote, underdeveloped regions, reduce dependence on unsustainable energy sources, and be part of a diverse sustainable energy grid (in association with hydropower, nuclear, thermal, etc.) for a resilient energy future.

We are a organization that is in-process of registration as a nonprofit and we are committed to making affordable technologies that are publicly-accessible (including all source code + hardware), auditable, and dedicated to our future generations. We release the majority of our work to the public domain to make sure it can never be copyrighted or patented.

As we are a small team and not operating for earning a profit, our funds are very limited, so any help will be appreciated!
