Time Out Youth provides a wide variety of services to queer and trans youth ages 13 to 24 in the Charlotte area, many of whom are unhoused. Every year they hold holiday giving to provide gifts to youth who otherwise do not have familial support around the holidays. You can see the holiday wish list here!

One of the biggest ways to increase autonomy and dignity for youth is providing them with transportation. Numerous youth have requested electric bikes and scooters for the holidays, and we cannot overstate how transformative this type of transportation can be for youth who struggle finding and commuting to employment.

Our goal is to raise $1500 to cover the cost of purchasing one electric scooter and four electric bicycles for 5 youth. These are big ticket items that are difficult for individuals to purchase and donate on their own. Raising funds for these scooters and bikes will help meet a vital need at a lower cost to each of us individually. If we raise more, even better! That's more gifts we can purchase!
