Want a day out in the Great Outdoors?
Fresh air, sunshine, and the beauty of nature. We are the socials working group of Food and Solidarity - we believe that building social bonds will make us more powerful. Our first event will be a visit to the countryside! We asked other members what social event they are most excited about - and being in nature together was the most popular suggestion.
To achieve this, we need your support. We need to raise £1000 to hire a bus. If we can't, we will take public transport.
Public transport will cost us around £350 if 50 members come. No pressure, but if you can (or know anyone who can), please donate. All donations will go into organising the event - to pay for logistics and transport.
Once the fundraiser is finished, our members will decide where we go - it could be the beach, woodlands, or up to the hills!
