About
SODAA is a Self Organised, Decentralised Association of Artists, musicians, DJs, producers, coders, songwriters, promoters and partygoers gathering in London, and worldwide via Discord server.
We are an open and non-hierarchical collective working to design a new model for a community-operated music and arts venue in London, established, maintained and funded via collective decision-making, an agreed code of conduct, and a membership-based mechanism.
We are an open and non-hierarchical collective working to design a new model for a community-operated music and arts venue in London, established, maintained and funded via collective decision-making, an agreed code of conduct, and a membership-based mechanism.
SODAA reflects the core values of the solidarity economy, centering inclusivity and equitable representation by outlining systems for curation in transparent and community-reviewed protocols where underrepresented groups (including POC, women, non-binary, LGBTQIA+ and people with disabilities) are prioritised and amplified.
SODAA invites everyone to co-organise and attend workshops, talks and parties, “working in public” to imagine a more sustainable and inclusive future for music and art scenes.
