Daytime | from 4pm

Panels

Panel discussions will bring together collectives from across London who are committed to creating community-run venues with grassroots promoters who have spearheaded best-practices and imaginative counter-strategies in arts and nightlife. We will explore how the ecosystems surrounding creative economies might evolve, and discuss new models for organising.

_____

Live performances

We will host live sets and AV performances from members of the SODAA community.

As well as individual showings, performances will include a special SODAA Ensemble collaborative show. Collectivising the performance process, each contributor will bring their own palette and tools, manipulating each other’s sonics via real-time improvisations.
_____

Night time | from 10pm to 4am

In line with the collaborative spirit, the night will feature only b2b DJ sets, including some of Threads Radio’s finest and SODAA DJs, and two very special invited guests.

We are thrilled to welcome master of cutting-edge and in-between club music Stem, who will share the booth with another legend of the most forward-thinking fringe of the UK sound 👀

Expect an ever spinning vortex of crunchy and fast tunes, intricate rhythms, and a lot of hands on decks.

SODAA is a Self Organised, Decentralised Association of Artists (musicians, DJs, producers, coders, songwriters, promoters and partygoers) gathering in London and via Discord server. Founded in December 2021 on principles of decentralised governance and solidarity economy, we meet online and in physical hangouts, workshops and parties to work towards a more sustainable future for music scenes operating outside conventional ‘industry’ structures.

Threads is an online broadcast platform connecting local communities across the world and empowering people to express themselves through music, discussion and art. Based in a building that formerly housed The Cause in Tottenham, a music venue that has had a huge impact since its launch in 2018, Threads engages with a wide range of issues and communities, providing a credible broadcast platform for local people to have airspace for unique musics and narratives.
