Soil Sage Collective

Our mission is to do good work by enhancing the adoption of regenerative soil and land management practices for the betterment of Aotearoa NZ’s ecology, economy and the lives she sustains.

We are committed to the regeneration of our land, water and food system, through the adoption of regenerative thinking and practices in the agricultural sector. 

We provide coaching and educational workshops to empower growers to have the knowledge and confidence to make the required changes in their growing systems to accomplish both personal and national ecological outcomes.

We are a small team, led by Jules Matthews, who has fifty years' experience in a broad variety of agricultural sectors, with a deep connection to land stewardship. She was a co-creator of Integrity Soils' 'CREATE' programme and was instrumental in the vision and development of Mangaroa Farms, a living laboratory for regenerative agriculture and education. She brings a wealth of experience in educating growers and regenerative farm coaches. Jules also sits on the Board of the Biome Trust, and is an advisor to the Massey University Whenua Haumanu regenerative agriculture research programme.
