About
The HeadBand Project: Strength In Buttons is a collective effort to provide healthcare personnel and other essential workers with headbands free of cost that are made to alleviate ear discomfort that may come up after wearing PPE for extended periods of time. The headbands are made with buttons attached to both sides so that any elastic may hang from the buttons rather than the individual's ears.
We have reached over 15+ different hospitals with over 2,000+ headbands in the 10 months amidst the COVID-19 crisis. Some hospitals we have been able to provide for include: UCLA Medical Center, UCI Medical Center, Kaiser, Stanford Health Care, and many more! Currently, we are mainly based in the Bay Area and Southern California Areas, however we are able to ship requests domestically.
