Let’s keep it simple. In the UK, the environmental sector is not very ethnically diverse, yet Afro-diasporic communities and Global majority communities face the brunt of this climate and environmental crisis.

Uninihibited Development Magazine is here to inspire the sector to accelerate the change towards true holistic inclusion. Holistic inclusion for Uninhibited Development Magazine is the full recognition the environmental sustainability embedded in the cultures, economies and mindsets of Black and people of colour that can drive the green revolution.

For Afro-diasporic communities and Global majority communities, sustainability is our original way of life, therefore, the recognition of diversity of knowledges in the environmental sector is how we have a full understanding of the crisis, and opens the window of the possibilities of solutions.

The mission of Uninihibited Development is clear: to motivate, inspire, advocate, and create opportunities for systemically excluded communities in the environmental sector.

Our focus will be on enabling Afro-diasporic and Global Majority communities to build ecosystems for circular, and sustainable urban futures through inspiring stories, high quality insights on circular economies across the globe, and an exploration of creative thinking and creative works in environmental arts and culture.

We seek to collaborate with organisations, individuals and business seeking to build projects rooted in our mission, particularly to support community investment efforts.

Uninhibited Development Magazine is an independent magazine. We retain full autonomy on the direction of editorial content to ensure that the magazine serves its purpose. Donations and sponsorships does not mean we endorse the positions of our donors’ product, services or products

We accept donations, sponsorships and gifts for a wider range of individuals and organisations, however, the editorial content will remain independent to the team.
