About
As beneficiaries of machinery and equipment from the Every One Every Day project, we have collectively committed to the ongoing creation of peer-to-peer participation opportunities within Barking & Dagenham.
By joining the Every One Every Day Legacy Asset Network, we endeavour to formalise this commitment through mutually beneficial collaborations, ensuring that the assets we hold on behalf of borough residents remain accessible and available within Barking & Dagenham.
As members of this network, we aspire to enhance our inter-organisational relationships within the borough. We regard this as a crucial component with the potential to extend the impact of our individual activities, sessions, and initiatives.
Aims of Our Network
To support one another in creating diverse and accessible participation opportunities across the borough.- To fortify inter-organisational relationships based on our shared values and collective assets.
- To foster collaborations that benefit residents.
- To collectively access the funds available in The Legacy Asset Fund to advance these aims.
Expectations of Network Members
To serve as distribution points for promotional materials, such as leaflets and posters, to support the continued availability of accessible participation opportunities in Barking & Dagenham.- To actively create opportunities for shared learning around accessible peer-to-peer participation within Barking & Dagenham.
- To commit to using The Legacy Asset Fund strictly in accordance with its intended purpose.
The Legacy Asset Fund
As members of this network, we have access to The Legacy Asset Fund, a resource designed to support collective action to address shared challenges, particularly in accessing spaces, maintaining or acquiring equipment, and ongoing skill development and training to facilitate peer-to-peer participation opportunities in Barking & Dagenham.
The Fund currently comprises £10,000 and will be supplemented with additional funds following the closure of the Participatory City Foundation's final accounts in early 2025.
