The Blackhouse in collaboration with ORIKoL Productions Ltd, were thrilled to present the highly anticipated Afrika Bazaar event, an enchanting celebration of African culture and heritage! This vibrant gathering will took place on 22nd July 2023 in Leftbank off Cuba Street and EVA, and captivate attendees with an immersive experience, showcasing the rich diversity of African diaspora artists,  music, dance, and cuisine and fashion. Our goal was to foster cultural exchange and appreciation while raising economic awareness to support a range of community cottage industries and young aspiring artists, musicians and DJs in Wellington. The purpose was to strive to create lasting, positive impacts on African community in Wellington while taking full advantage of FIFA crowds in town for the first Wellington game featuring South Africa's Banyana Banyana. 
With an array of unique stalls,  and performances by talented artists, Afrika Bazaar delivered an unforgettable experience. We sincerely hoped you had joined us in this joyous occasion and want to  contribute to our shared mission of empowering and uplifting African heritage communities in New Zealand. Together, we can make a meaningful difference and celebrate the beauty and talent of the growing African heritage cultural tapestry as it presents in New Zealand.
