Our Response to the UK Government

We are developing a written response to the Governments Response to the English Care Review
In 2023 the government finally responded to the independent care review for England. As a movement we would like to form a collective care experience response, one that challenges but also highlights the good in the strategy the government has set out.

In order to do this we would like to invite all care experienced people to virtual and in person events to explore and develop a response with us, in the form of a written policy. This policy would have the aim of offering the government out very own solutions from the true lived experience of growing up in the care system in the UK.

Now is the time for our wonderful and diverse community to stand up and push for the change we all need. We are the civil rights movement of this time.
