New York City based fine dining line-cook and software developer. Founder of usefirst.com. Graduate of Auburn University and the Institute of Culinary Education. I've been working as a cook for Union Square Hospitality Group for 3 years now and worked at a number of NYC restaurants before that including Nickel and Diner in Chinatown and Lilia Ristorante in Williamsburg. Previous to that, I have 15 years of software development experience most recently with Priceline.com sharing time between New York City and Norwalk, Connecticut.
As a software developer, I have a deep appreciation for those who donate their time to writing code for the open source community and I wanted to show my gratitude for that by way of financial assistance through my organization, a free-to-post culinary job board that I created during a spell of unemployment during the pandemic of 2020.
