About

We are the people.
The People’s Fundraiser is a giving campaign dedicated to standing in solidarity with Black and Brown communities impacted by America’s criminal injustice system. Our principal mission is to identify families affected by the system and provide them with direct funding. The People’s Fundraiser believes that combatting injustices faced by Black and Brown communities, especially those in place by the criminal justice system, requires a united effort to lend both love and community, which we strive to provide with the help of our partner organizations.

We stand for love.
Last year, we launched our Holiday Fundraiser to combat systemic racism and send love to children and families of incarcerated parents. In just ten days, we raised about $19,000 and gave $250 to over 75 families nationwide. This year, we hope to reach even more people…

Vibe with us.
We are a collective, not an administrative bureaucracy. So joining our movement means joining people, just like you, with strong ties to the community and a passion for change. Together, we can make the holiday season a little bit brighter for families. Help us spread the word!
