The Ukraine War Archive is a unique digital platform that enables the preservation, intelligent systematisation, and secure accessibility of materials related to the russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. We are empowering justice and accountability, supporting advocacy & data operations, and preserving the history of this war. The Archive also serves as a resource for policymakers and operational specialists to understand the nature of the military aggression and the responses of the population, enabling the development of better protection for civilians and preventing the rewriting of history in the future.

Challenge
In the two and a half years of the Ukraine War Archive’s existence, we have collected over 30 million valuable video and audio files along with other materials documenting russia’s war crimes against Ukraine and the history of the war. During this time, we have spent £145,000 on storing and protecting the data we have accumulated. This has been possible thanks to the support of our donors and individual contributors (to whom we are immensely grateful!).

Currently, we need £9,070 per month to continue maintaining all the evidence we have gathered. Please help us do so by becoming a sponsor of the Ukraine War Archive.

The Archive’s users include law enforcement agencies, human rights activists, researchers, historians, as well as artists, cultural institutions, documentary filmmakers, and media professionals. They utilise the collected data to prepare court filings, conduct analytical studies, and create films, exhibitions, scripts, and performances, ensuring that war crimes do not go unaddressed, and that the world knows and remembers them.
