WHO WE ARE
We are a climate law organisation using law strategically to create accountability and systemic change.
Último Recurso develops and supports strategic legal action to challenge harmful decisions and projects, enforce climate and environmental obligations, protect people and ecosystems, and establish legal and institutional change.
Our work brings together legal strategy, scientific evidence, policy and research, and the knowledge of communities affected by climate and environmental harm.

The climate crisis is creating legal problems faster than the systems around us are responding to them.
Climate change affects the decisions governments make, the projects companies develop, the rights of communities, and the obligations institutions are required to meet.
