About Tender Birthday Party

Kate, co-founder of Untold Ukraine, turns 29. She wants to gather her friends, friends of friends, and go back to the tender school age. Or maybe we never actually left it?

Anyway, this party is a way for all of us to back in the days and have fun with a good cause.

This would never happen without Nastya, her crazy best friend, partner in crime, who convinced her to do it and helped organise it.

All the funds gathered during the party will go towards Behind Blue Eyes.

About Behind Blue Eyes

Behind Blue Eyes works with Ukrainian kids growing up in areas that are under daily attack by russia near the front lines. The kids were asked to make wishlists. They came up with simple requests for things like bicycles, roller blades, school supplies, or even a grey chinchilla. Some of the children were given disposable film cameras to document their lives in Ukrainian villages after occupation. 

The goal of the project is to let these kids express their feelings and thoughts about the war and show them that creativity is an instrument to fullfill your own dreams. We are learning to look at the world around us through “blue eyes” while these children are learning to dream and create in a new way. This project is our reminder to be brave and not forget to dream, no matter what.
