About
West Brooklyn Waterfront Mutual Aid is a grassroots community collective created by neighbors, for neighbors. We aim to build solidarity in our neighborhoods by engaging with the principles of mutual aid: pooling resources, supporting each other’s needs and finding help for our most vulnerable neighbors. While WBWMA is based in West Brooklyn, we recognize that our well-being, health and freedom is interconnected with the well-being of our neighbors and we are committed to working with community members throughout Brooklyn.
Funds contributed here will help us provide essential goods free of cost to individuals and families who need them - with a focus on food, medication and protective equipment. When possible, we'll shop local, small businesses to keep the contributions in our community.
Any amount you're able to contribute will be gratefully accepted and put to good use. Thank you for joining us in support of our neighbors!
If you'd like to join us as a volunteer, please our website www.wbwmutualaid.org.
