@phdjdoestweets XRPLCluster.com is much more stable, indeed. And when nodes drop off, the others don't take a hit anymore. Definitely noticeable improvements.
If you see the status screenshot below you can notice that the xrplcluster.com bar is getting greener and greener. Because of a combination of rippled source code improvements and infra scaling. Next big win(s) will be on the source code side.
