The vision for the Alversjö Garden Project is to create a "secret" garden with a few hidden entrance that allows for (inner) silence in beautiful surroundings. We also hope that the garden will serve as a spot to visit for locals in and around Eksjö. A place out of the ordinary where plants and small art pieces complement each other.
This project on Open Collective is to collect money for electricity in the little house, get a water pump and irrigation system, to buy some plants, seeds, tools, maintain the deck and make it bigger, and build a stair up from the plaza.
Going further we hope that it will be possible to build 2 tiny houses in the back of the garden, that can serve as temporary homes for people who want to tend the garden. We imagine that the invitation will be that people can go to the garden for small monastic retreats where the gardening practice is part of the meditation.
