Supporting parents and families who are navigating medically complex pregnancies and raising children with chronic medical conditions.

About

Eaglevision supports families raising children with chronic and complex medical conditions.

When a child requires ongoing medical care, the impact extends far beyond the diagnosis. Parents — especially mothers in the postnatal period — often become primary caregivers, coordinators, and advocates, while navigating significant emotional, physical, financial, and relational strain.
Many of these families are isolated and overlooked. Support systems tend to focus on the child’s medical needs, while the parent — who is central to the child’s long-term care — is left without structured support.
Eaglevision exists to address this gap.
Through a practical, structured coaching approach, Eaglevision helps parents:
  •  manage the ongoing demands of complex care
  •  make clear, informed decisions over time
  •  sustain their own wellbeing for the long haul
  •  navigate relationships, responsibilities, and systems more effectively
  •  remain steady and capable in the face of prolonged uncertainty

This work is grounded in established research across trauma-informed care, attachment, and parental stress. There is clear evidence that when parents are supported, they are better able to cope, make decisions, and provide consistent care for their child.

Eaglevision complements medical care by focusing on the parent’s capacity to sustain that care over time.

The goal is simple: to ensure families are not left to carry the long-term burden of medical complexity alone — and that parents are supported to remain strong, capable, and present for their child and their whānau.
*NB Eaglevision is not a medical organisation, and as such does not provide medical advice.
