The Freedom to Learn Forum is an annual co-created gathering for anyone interested in exploring social and environmental justice, through learning ecosystems.
The Freedom to Learn Forum 2025 is 12pm Thursday 28th August - 12pm Monday 1st September at a beautiful location in the Peak District. It includes four nights camping, though there may be other accommodation options on request for accessibility needs.
This year will be the most co-created ever, with a proposal to move towards a gift economy culture. As always, anyone can propose an event on any topic but a big theme this year will be discussions around Freedom to Learn becoming an independent entity; and what that means for our ethos and strategy.
The Freedom to Learn Forum will only go ahead if we manage to raise enough funds to cover the cost of the venue, so if you're able to contribute more than the minimum ticket price that will make a big difference to our capacity to hold the event.
Nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. If you would like to come along but cannot afford the minimum ticket price please email us: [email protected]
