About

The Humboldt Park Solidarity Network is a mutual aid group formed in response to COVID-19. Since the pandemic began, we have created a network of community members that work together to support the needs of our neighbors.

We began small, providing volunteers with materials to make masks, which we distributed to those who needed them. Since then, the group has expanded and now organizes weekly food and supply distributions and deliveries, serving around 200 families a week, with more than 50 active volunteers.

Our network, and the work we do, is ever-expanding and we’ve now hosted a Community Care Circle (with clothes, meditation and more), an Overdose Reversal Training, a Housing Worksop,  two art shows, and we’re working on plans to do so much more!

Our network keeps growing, but so do the needs of our community. With your support, we will grow, adapt, learn, and continue to support our neighbors.
