About
- North Brooklyn Compost Project: We’ve processed nearly 40,000 pounds of compost, and continue to collect composting on Sundays! (For more, follow @nbkcompost + @bkscrapshuttle)
- Greenpoint Community Fridge and Cooper Park Fridge: Maintained entirely by volunteers, the Fridges have food for anyone who needs it — helping fight food insecurity and eliminate food waste in our community. (For more, follow @nbkfridges)
- Hygiene Kits: 500 kits a month are distributed to support our unhoused neighbors — every kit includes items like hand sanitizer, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, a mask, and more, along with a handwritten encouraging note. (For more, follow @hygienekitsnbk)
- NBK Stewards: Help keep our parks clean! The stewards are leading park and open space cleanups in the neighborhood. (For more, follow @nbkstewards)
