About

OpenCore Legacy Patcher is a community driven project by hobbyists who love the Mac platform. Our goal is to extend the usable life of people's Macs, allowing users to keep their machines longer and reduce E-Waste.

OpenCore Legacy Patcher is free to download and does not require a donation to use. By supporting this project, you're helping us get access to more hardware and software to use for development, such as unsupported Macs, development tools, developer accounts and so on.

Please do keep in mind that supporting OpenCore Legacy Patcher does not support Acidanthera's OpenCorePkg or other related projects.

Do note that we're a small team trying to tackle major challenges, including firmware, kernel and userspace patches, and as such cannot offer support for OpenCore Legacy Patcher. We provide our project for free, on an AS-IS basis, however we have an amazing community-driven Discord where users can join to hang out and discuss challenges they might face:

https://discord.gg/rqdPgH8xSN

We greatly appreciate the love and support our community has provided, we're ever grateful to help so many people and their beloved Macs.
