Dear Valued Community Members and Supporters,

We are excited to announce our 2nd Annual Turkey Drive hosted by the Roslindale Community Fridge! Please join us on Tuesday, November 23rd, 6pm to 8pm at the Fridge Location behind Roslindale Market at 4140 Washington St. for this holiday event!

As a community organization focused on mutual aid, we rely on the support of our community members to make this drive a success. We are seeking volunteers and monetary donations to serve our Roslindale neighbors and provide Thanksgiving turkeys and chickens for their family celebrations. Please consider donating to our Turkey Drive to help provide a Thanksgiving meal to a local neighbor in need. All donations will go toward the purchase of turkeys, chickens, and other Thanksgiving meal ingredients. Any contribution - big or small - will make an impact!

Last year, we provided turkeys and chickens to over 75 of our Roslindale neighbors. This year, we hope to double that impact and serve over 150 families! Our Summer Blowout drive in August provided over 200 backpacks, lunch boxes, and fresh food to our community members, with a line forming down the block before the event began. This demonstrates not only the ongoing need in our community but also the safe space that the Fridge has created in the neighborhood for addressing food insecurity.
