Tusome Pamoja Initiative [TPI] is a local initiative Situated in Turkana East sub-county along the border of East Pokot, Samburu, and Turkana counties in the eastern region. The initiative’s aims at creating the need of using NVC approach as the driving force to attend peace where everyone needs matters and it emphasises on using child-friendly activities promoting peace among conflict-affected communities.

Tusome Pamoja Initiative targets traumatized children in conflicted areas who are affected by cattle rustling. Its based on the principles of NVC where everyone needs matters and it's built up by principles and vision of the foundation of NVC.EXPRESSING THE EYES OF LOVE BUT NOT ENEMITY (LOVE THAT GOES BEYOND)
The main intention is to target children in conflict prone areas; equip them with NVC skills, support them to get the chance to access education and advocate for the child right among the marginalised communities to address the need of peace through child friendly activities.

Aim, Purpose, and Alignment with Non-Violent Communication:
The aim is to foster peace and resilience among conflict-affected children. The purpose is to provide nonviolent communication training to enable dialogue, empathy, and conflict resolution. This project aligns with non-violent communication by supporting mentorship for children who've experienced trauma, offering dialogue solutions, and promoting empathetic listening.
