Conferences

Supporting open source maintainers to attend non-technical conferences with free or subsidized tickets. We believe many maintainers assume the 'community leader' role but have limited support for expanding their knowledge in non-technical areas, which could significantly enhance their ability to manage their projects.

We encourage projects to use their Collective budget to reimburse community members for events like these. If your collective doesn't have the funds to do so, we'll cover it. Read more 

Open Source Collective will cover the full or partial cost of event tickets for representatives of projects hosted by Open Source Collective. Please see the expense policy for further details when filing an expense.
