About

Mission Statement

We foster connections between Mount Holyoke College alums, students, friends, and families based in the vast geographic area from California’s northern border all the way south to Modesto and east to Lake Tahoe. Every year, the Club hosts a mix of tradition-inspired events, like our Pangy Day Admitted Students Reception and Mountain Day Ice Cream Social, and member-led ad hoc events, like book clubs and hikes along some of the Bay Area’s nicest trails. We hope to engage as many alums as possible and always want to hear your event ideas or other comments. All are welcome and encouraged to participate in Club activities and attend our events.

As the College has pledged, we are committed to “take on the work of becoming anti-racist collectively […] and build a better and preferred future for our community.” The Club follows the Alum Association’s strategic pillars to “build belonging, enrich lives, and broaden opportunities” as well as to uphold “the shared values of our inclusive, respectful, agile and collaborative community.” We welcome thoughts and feedback from our members regarding how we can better support our community and make our values clear in our policies and practices.

Club Dues

The Mount Holyoke Club of Northern California is classified as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 94-2434609)  distinct from the College. Contributions to the Club may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the law and may be matched by your employer's corporate matching program. Your donation helps keep our all-volunteer Club afloat and allows us to continue offering an incredible and diverse slate of events

The Club’s fiscal year is July 1 to June 30. If you'd prefer to pay your dues by check, please email us at [email protected].
